Mandolyn's Boot Camp
Workout
The most efficient
way to burn calories and fat faster, and still have fun doing it!
A fast-paced, military style, interval class that
incorporates: Weight Training ~ Calisthenics ~ Cardio
~ Abs ~ Push ups, Jumping jacks, Football style drills &
sprints.
If you’re a fitness enthusiast, or you’re simply bored
with your stationery workout, Mandolyn’s Boot Camp Workout may be the
“boot” your workout needs.
The class is a fast-paced military
style interval training class that incorporates calisthenics such as
push-ups, jumping jacks, crunches, running in place and football style
drills along with weight toning. In between strength training drills,
cardio is targeted with aerobic steps. This method is the most
efficient way to increase the intensity of your workouts and still have
fun doing it. Alternating quickly between movements helps burn calories
and fat faster. Boot camp workouts are efficient because you work your
entire body-heart and muscles-by going from one workout to another with
no rest. The difference between this and other workouts lies in
the intensity.
WHEN: Thursdays, with a free class on January 7th, the 1st Thursday of each month will be free to new sign ups. TIME: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm FEE: $20/month WHERE: Sheridan Community Center at Old Woodland Park School, call 675-2004. INSTRUCTOR: Mandolyn Vendela

Mandolyn's Step Aerobics
Has your cardio
workout reached a plateau? Are you doing the same elliptical
training or running regiment each week, but seeing few physical
results? Rev up your cardio workout with Mandolyn’s Step
Aerobics! This class is a medium-high impact aerobics regiment that
targets weight loss with the use of an elevated platform, which can be
tailored to your specific needs by inserting risers under the step.
Along with the step, I add a few metabolic drills in order to
jack that metabolism, a few hand weights for toning, and tons of core
work…and we have a fun class that targets all those ‘problem’ areas!
And dont worry if you are ‘rythmically’ challenged, this class is
about the workout, not the choreography and footwork! Compliment
your cardiovascular routine with this class today!
WHEN: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm, starting January 5th WHERE: Sheridan Community Center at Old Woodland Park School FEE $20/month For more information call 675-2004 or 674-6421.
