Summer Softball 2011 |

Leagues
are offered in Men’s and Co-Rec divisions. Play begins in
late
May on Monday through Thursday nights with make-ups on Fridays.
Fees are established at the managers’ meeting on Wednesday,
April 27th. Registration is April 25th to May 6th.
Games
are at
the Sheridan Softball Complex which offers a full-service concession
stand fresh with hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, popcorn, sodas, and
candy. In addition, batting cages are available during the
season
and fifty cents provide ten balls to master your swing.

The softball season concludes with a
recreational
league with the emphasis on fun. The league begins in August
after
the summer season. Each team will play ten games without any
awards
or tournament. Doubleheaders are scheduled, so be
ready to
play! Play is Tuesday and Thursday nights.

for the 2011 - 2012 season will
take place from October 17th to October 24th, 2011. Fees will be $450.00 per team. Men’s
teams must register at the Sheridan Recreation District office, Monday
through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please make checks payable to
the Sheridan Recreation District and provide a preliminary roster with
names and the name and phone number of a contact person.

FALL BASKETBALL MEETING - Wednesday, October 19th at the Old Woodland Park Facility/SRD at 6:00pm. This will be the
primary
organizational meeting for the Fall and Winter 2011 - 2012 Men’s Basketball season.
At this meeting such topics as league format with the two
divisions, rule changes, fees, and any other points of interest will be
discussed. This is an important meeting and all Men’s team
managers and interested players are encouraged to attend to discuss the
league.

Basketball - Over 30 League |
League play will begin the week of January 26th. Registration for
the 2011 Over-30 league is January 17 - 24, 2011. Men’s Over-30 teams must
register at the
Sheridan Recreation District office Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Please make checks payable to the Sheridan Recreation District and

2011-2012 |
 Team registration for
the 2011-2012 season is from Monday,
September 26 through Friday, October 7. Team registrations will
be taken from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the
Recreation District Office. Checks must be payable to the
Sheridan Recreation District. Along with payment, bring in the
name and phone number of the manager of the team. Final rosters
are due at the first night of league play. (Adult

VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS, MANAGERS AND OFFICIALS MEETING/CLINICWednesday, October 5Old Woodland Park Facility/SRD • 6:00p.m.
All
volleyball team captains and players MUST attend the organizational
meeting to discuss the upcoming season. Topics of discussion
will
include rules, division of leagues, number of matches, night each
league will play, starting dates and times, etc. This is a
mandatory and informative meeting and a great opportunity for players
and captains to provide constructive input to improve the program.
This MANDATORY meeting will be for all returning officials,
any
new officials, and all team representatives. The purpose of this
meeting will be to inform and update participants on the rules of the
game. All persons interested in officiating volleyball for
the
2011-2012 season must attend this clinic, as well as one team
representative from each team. *Teams not represented will
receive a forfeit of the first game of the first match.*

CO-REC VOLLEYBALL
The
Co-Rec Volleyball season will start early March or after the men’s and
women’s divisions. Divisions are Co- Rec “A” and Co-Rec “B”
divisions and will play on Monday & Wednesday nights until
early
May. Registration is accepted from February 21 – March 2.
The team fee is $100 per team with ten matches and no awards.
A mandatory Managers Meeting is Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 6:00 PM
at
the Old Woodland Park School. All teams not
represented will receive a forfeit of their first game of their first
match.

The
Recreation District will be hosting a league interest meeting for those
of whom who would like to participate. The meeting will be held at Old
Woodland Park School on October 24th at 6:00 PM. At the meeting we'll
discuss dates, times, and team fees. Get with your friends and

Flag Football |
 If
you still want to live out your childhood dreams of playing football,
come and get involved with adult flag football league at the Sheridan
Recreation District. The league runs from the first part of September through
October. The league is a 6 on 6 and is an all pass league. For
