Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza

Sponsored by Sheridan Media Plan now to attend the Sheridan Recreation District’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. The frivolity will happen in Thorne-Rider Park and different age groups will be in different areas of the park. However, there will still be plenty of hunting opportunities… and the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures at the end of the hunt. There will be plenty of candy to make this an event you don’t want to miss. Due to safety, the south entrance to the park will be closed. Please enter the park through the north entrance. When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 Time: 10:00 a.m. SHARP! (Please be there 10 – 15 minutes before the event happens, so your child doesn’t miss out on the hunt) Place: Thorne-Rider Park o Ages 0 to 3 will be on Redle Field o Ages 4 to 5 will be in the Barney Park o Ages 6 to 8 will be in the playground area by the sand volleyball courts (If weather does not cooperate, which is a definite possibility, we will go indoors at the Sheridan High School gyms.)

Easter Egg Huntin’ with the Pooch

Sponsored by Sheridan Media This is one hunt that has definitely gone to the dogs! After the Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza, plan on bringing your pooch to Madia Field (located just west of Thorne- Rider Park) for the annual Easter Egg Huntin’ with the Pooch event. Dog and owner will explore and locate dog treats, or discover tennis balls just the right size for fetching! Dogs will need to stay on leash and, if the pooch has an accident, clean up is your responsibility (doggie waste bags will be available). The Easter Bunny will probably not show up because bunnies generally get a little nervous around dogs! When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 Where: Dan Madia Field Time: 11:00 a.m. SHARP
