2020 Fall Youth Cross Country Running

Sign up for a program that will provide the base for a lifelong activity! This youth running program is FUN! Youth in grades 2nd through 5th grade are invited to join the youth cross country team. Practices are twice a week for approximately one month. We will run, play games, and learn drills that will test your endurance, and refine your running form. The last day we will host a one mile cross country race in Thorne-Rider Park. Registration: Sign up in person at the Sheridan Recreation District office at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park, call 307-674- 6421, or sign up online through August 21st. Penrose Pacers Running Club

If you enjoy running, want to get into running, or are sick of hearing that someone in your life telling you to start exercising, this casual running group is for you. The Penrose Pacers Running Club is an informal group that meets weekly to hit the roads together. Anyone is welcome to participate in the group runs, there are no pace requirements, all abilities are encourage to join. To join the club, contact the Sheridan Recreation District office and ask to be put on the Penrose Pacers e-mail list, e-mail Seth Ulvestad, or like Sheridan Recreation District on Facebook and watch for updates. Once you are on the list you will get notifications on run locations and times.
