Youth Rock Climbing Camp with Bighorn Mountain Guides
This entry level rock climbing course is designed to teach kids about basic knots, belay techniques, rappelling, top-rope climbing, and Leave No Trace ethics in the Bighorn Mountains. All participants will be supplied with the climbing gear needed for the course. Climbing locations will be Tongue River Canyon, South Piney Creek Canyon, and Steamboat Point.
Instructors
All instructors for this course will be contracted through Bighorn Mountain Guides, LLC. The lead instructor is Nick Flores, a local climber and educator, who has several years of experience working with students in an educational setting. All guides contracted through Bighorn Mountain Guides have current CPR/First-AID training and have been certified as a Single-Pitch Instructor by the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA).

Fees Include
All students will get professional guide service (guide ratio: 1 guide to 6 students), access to climbing equipment (i.e. climbing harnesses, climbing shoes, helmets, ropes, etc.), a participation t-shirt, and a course completion certificate.
Class Size
We plan to keep our group size to 10 or less. The course will fill up on a first come basis. A full payment must be received for the registration to be completed.
