www.sheridanwyoming.org Sheridan Travel & Tourism will provide up to $35,000 in fiscal year 2016- 2017 through a Matching Funds Grant program in cooperation with the Sheridan Recreation District. If you or your group is sponsoring a sporting event with overnight stays, your group is eligible to receive a Sporting Event Grant to assist you in coordinating your event. Sheridan Travel & Tourism is committed to increasing visitors and overnight stays to the area. Sheridan Travel & Tourism uses the city wide 4% lodging tax option to increase exposure, visitation, and overnight stays to Sheridan. The 4% lodging tax is paid for by visitors staying in Sheridan’s hotels, motels, RV parks, and campgrounds – it is NOT paid by residents.
