Swimming Lessons Correction

Session Five for swimming lessons is August 2nd-13th. The dates printed in the summer program guide were incorrect. 

Little Guy Football 

Sign-ups for Little Guy Football will be August 2nd-6th at the Sheridan Recreation District Office. Cost is $15 for grades 1-2, $20 for grades 3-4, and $35 for grades 5-6. All 5th and 6th grade tackle football players need to obtain a sports physical prior to practicing. A $5 late fee will be charged.  

2010 J.D. Mullinax Tennis Tournament

The 2010 J.D. Mullinax Tennis Tournament will be held August 7th and 8th at the Thorne Rider Park Tennis Courts. Play will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on the 7th. Registration will be held at the Sheridan Recreation District Office from July 8th till August 5th. This event is for youth and adult players competeing in women's doubles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. The cost is $20 per person for the first event, and $5 more for a second event.  

Adult Flag Football

 Registraton for Adult Flag Football will run from Monday, August 16th through Monday, August 23rd at the Sheridan Recreation District Office. There will be a managers meeting on Thursday, August 19th at 6 p.m. at the Old Woodland Park School. All managers must be in attendance. A registration fee of $230 per team is due the night of August 23rd.

Disc Golf League

There will be a meeting for any individuals interested in starting a Disc Golf League on Monday, August 9th at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheridan Recreation District Office. The league will run from mid-august through the end of September. The meeting will discuss league play, rules, and entry fees.

Adult Co-Rec Fall Softball

Registration for teams is Monday, August 2nd untill Wednesday, August 11th at the  Sheridan Recreation District Office. The fee is $200 per team. League begins Tuesday, August 17th and games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

 Buffalo Bill Museum Senior Citizen Trip

August 17th and 18th we will be going to Cody to tour the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. We will be staying the night and returning to Sheridan the next day. Cost is $65 per person. Registration will be held at the Senior Center and at the Sheridan Rec. Office. Space is limited to 12, all others will be put on a waiting list.
