Kendrick Park Pool Update
Currently the Sheridan City Council is looking for guidance regarding the future of the Kendrick Park Pool. The current pool has been around since 1947 and is dire need of revitalization, so now is your chance to offer your support and provide an opinion as to the future of the Kendrick Pool. If you value the current outdoor pool and would like to see it stay in Kendrick Park, or you have thoughts regarding the removal of the current pool and placing it at an alternative site, or you would like to see the current site repurposed and the elimination of the pool, or you have some other idea…now is the time to provide comments. Please contact your council members and the mayor and let them know your thoughts. Regardless, there will be changes to the current pool and now is your chance to voice an opinion!

Water Exercise
Want to get in shape without breaking a sweat? Join us this summer for a fun, refreshing, and energizing workout in the water. Swim skills are not required as exercises are held in the shallow end of the pool. This class will include cardiovascular conditioning, muscle toning, and flexibility while enjoying the fresh air and up beat music. It’s a great way to burn fat, low impact so easy on the joints, and open to all levels. The water is a great way to challenge the body, as it creates resistance for a total cross training workout.

Pre-registration is not required, but it will save you some money. Please consult your physician before starting any fitness program.

Dates: June 3rd - August 22nd
Times: Monday - Thursday from Noon - 1:00 pm
Fee: $2 per class
Instructor: Cindy Garriott

Last Day for Summer
Our last day for the season will be Saturday, August 29th.  This will be a 50 cent swim day from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Dog Swim
Join us again for our annual Dog Swim Day. This is a great time to let your favorite pooch cool down. Come and let your dog swim in our main pool, jump off the diving board, and fetch until their heart is content. Dogs must be well behaved and any messes must be cleaned up by the owner. We suggest that owners do not go in the water during this time.

Date: August 29th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Fee: $1 per dog
