Facility and Equipment Policy The Sheridan Recreation District has available the use of Thorne-Rider Park; Story Park; Kendrick Pool; Sheridan Community Softball Complex; picnic kits, a popcorn popper, and a dunk tank for reasonable rates. You must check out the whole kit or nothing at all in order to keep the kits organized.  The popcorn popper is a large, commercial size popper that is used in concession operations and is a great fundraiser at events. You will need to provide your own popcorn and oil. The dunk tank is available for $100.00 use fee and a $150.00 deposit. It is a large tank that holds 500 gallons of water. A specific agreement with rules and waivers is also included in the use of the dunk tank. Mobile Barbeque Trailer Use of the barbeque trailer requires a $100.00 deposit and a $50.00 user fee. Users must return the trailer in good working condition or pay for repairs.  The trailer must be returned by 4:00 pm on the agreed return date or pay a $20.00 late fee. Users will be responsible for reading and understanding operating instructions and hold the Sheridan Recreation District board and employees and agents harmless from any claim or injury. The barbeque is gas operated and can cook around 100 burgers at a one time. Reservations are based on the first come, first serve basis.
