2020 Little Sluggers

All kindergarten and first grade boys and girls are encouraged to sign up for Little Sluggers Baseball! This program introduces the fundamentals of the sport and prepares players to move on to baseball or softball programs. As an instructional league with a goal to prepare players for future competitive games, this league will have one “game” on the last day. Who: Kindergarten and first grade girls and boys (ages 4-6) Fee: $30 (includes t-shirt) Registration: Sign up online or in person at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park between April 13 - May 22 o Session 1: Saturdays: June 6, 13, 20, 27; July 11, 18 o Session 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays: July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 Time: 9:00 - 10:00 am Equipment: Each player should have a glove, weather appropriate clothes, and a water bottle.

2020 Webb Wright Baseball

Another summer of baseball will be here before we know it! All 2nd-6th Graders are encouraged to participate. This league allows players to develop their skills and knowledge of the game. We focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun! Who: 2nd-6th graders Registration: Sign up online or in person at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park between March 16 - April 15 Leagues and Fees: o Peewee - all current 1st and 2nd graders (must be age 6 by May 1, 2019): $40 o Intermediate - all current 3rd and 4th graders (must be age 8 by May 1, 2019): $45 o Minor - all current 5th and 6th graders (must be age 10 by May 1, 2019): $50 Uniforms, pants, and hats will be provided. Hats can be kept at end of the season. Each player should also have a glove, weather appropriate clothes, and a water bottle. All Peewee and Intermediate players will play on a team of the school they are currently attending. In an effort to keep team numbers low, and individual playing time maximized, the program director, JD Williams, can modify teams at his discretion. All Minor League players need to attend the player showcase on April 28th at 5:30 pm at Redle Field. Register early, we have a maximum limit of 13 players per team! Questions?
