Facility and Equipment Policy The Sheridan Recreation District has available the use of Thorne-Rider Park; Kendrick Pool; Sheridan Community Softball Complex; picnic kits, and a dunk tank for reasonable rates. The Sheridan Recreation District reserves the right to refuse service to any person or group. Thorne-Rider Park Sheridan Recreation District Office Redle Baseball Field Covered and outdoor Tennis Courts Thorne-Rider Playground Basketball Court Sand Volleyball Picnic Areas Trooper Stadium Indoor Hitting & Pitching Facility Pathway Sledding Hill Sheridan Skate Park Dan Madia Football Fields John Oatts 6th Street Fields Sheridan Community Softball Complex at SC Kendrick Park (the park is managed by City of Sheridan) Ice Cream Stand Swimming Pool Tennis Courts Black Tooth Park Future Double Day Sports Complex Grassroots Community Campaign School District No. 2 Scheduling Facilities Request for Use Form Pickle Ball Nets Available Pickle Ball nets are available to check out for use by the public. There is no fee for use of the nets. Pickle Ball courts are marked on the Tennis Courts and available in Thorne-Rider Park and Sheltered Acres Parks. We also have some racquets and balls available for use. Please contact the SRD Office in Thorne-Rider Park at 307-674-6421 to reserve you net today! Picnic Kit/Dunk Tank Picnic kits include an outdoor volleyball net and poles; (1) volleyball; (1) softball bat; (1) softball; and (4) horse shoes and (2) stakes. You must check out the whole kit or nothing at all in order to keep the kits organized. Reserving a picnic kit requires a $50.00 deposit and a $10.00 non-refundable reservation fee. The picnic kits are available to the public on the first come, first serve basis. The dunk tank is available for $100.00 use fee and a $150.00 deposit. It is a large tank that holds 500 gallons of water. A specific agreement with rules and waivers is also included in the use of the dunk tank.
